juxtaposition
all these photos are because they all have two objects positioned next to each other with the intent of comparing or contrasting them. The first one kids do not play on tanks, the second because the woman is mad when the sun on the window is happy. Then the third one is because its making the exposition look like a tree. The 4th one is because it shows a girl laying on the floor of a street then a women dressed up in the doorway. Last one is an oil fire with camels walking in front of the fire
Street Photographers
Jesse Wright is an amazing street photographer in New York. He is able to take everyday objects and make them art, for example the shopping cart is an everyday object and it turned out to be a great and unique photo. I like Jesse because he uses any object and makes them art.
Thomas Leuthard is another street photographer from Switzerland. He roams the streets of large cities worldwide and takes photos of people and buildings. He focus on funny situations, characters, and takes his time to get the perfect photo. I like his art work because it is different and stands out from other photographers
Johanna Neurath is another street photographer in London. Her photography focus on colors and uses the space to turn a simple everyday item into art. I like her work because it is so different from other photographers. All her pictures are bright and not like any other photos.
Street Photography
1. The definition of street photography changes all the time, it changes by where someone takes a photo and how they do it. Someone should not worry about what street photography is, they should take photos of what they think it is. With the photos above we did inside a school, which can be street photography even though it is not outside or on a street.
2. Back in the day taking pictures on the street has hard due to a big slow camera, and everyone saw them. Today we have small cameras that can shoot pictures fast. With some of the pictures above we took them without them knowing or seeing us. 3. Someone should not be tense and nervous when taking street photos, but its important to get in the zone. When shooting someone should not worry about anything else going on around them. When taking photos in the lunch room their is a lot of people talking and friends trying to talk to you, and when taking the photos above we had to block out the sounds around us and focus on taking good photos. John Michael Cooper
I think all of John Michael Cooper photos are successful, I think that because they are different and stand out from others. The second photo has lighting and leading lines that draw your eyes to both the man and the girl. John takes unique photos that someone wouldn't morally think of doing. When you think of someone in a weeding dress you think pretty and sweet, you don't think of laying in the water or the dirt. Each photo has great lighting and he uses the space well.
